Over a decade ago, Sandra and Ricardo Peña founded 4Kids Foundation in Cota, Colombia, to reach at-risk children and their families through soccer, tutoring, and community outreach. Each year, 4Kids invests in the lives of around 100 kids, using these touchpoints as a bridge to share the Gospel and disciple families in their faith. Ricardo also pastors Aposento Alto Church in Cota, a congregation of about 50 members passionate about reaching their community for Christ.
While serving alongside 4Kids Foundation and Aposento Alto Church, our team will engage with the soccer academy, help with tutoring sessions, and take part in community outreach events — building relationships that open doors for the Gospel. We'll also partner with Ricardo and the local church, encouraging believers at Aposento Alto as they reach their community for Christ.
*Note: Six hours of additional GCI training will be required for this trip.
