Summit Volunteer Information

General Information

Thank you so much for your interest in being a vital part of the Downline Summit Conference volunteer team! We rely on the dedication of our volunteers to create a successful and impactful experience for everyone. Your support for both our team and the attendees is invaluable. Please take a moment to read through the general FAQs below for more information. You can fill out the interest form below if you’d like to volunteer.

What to expect as a volunteer?

All volunteers will be provided complimentary registration. Volunteers will be provided one Summit t-shirt for the conference. Travel and lodging are the volunteer’s responsibility.

Important Clothing Note: Volunteers shirts are short-sleeved. These t-shirts must be your outermost layer of clothing, so if you need more layers, plan to wear a long sleeve base layer under your volunteer shirt and size the t-shirt accordingly.

Will there be a volunteer orientation or training session?

Absolutely. We will hold a mandatory volunteer orientation session a day before the conference. This session will cover important information about the conference, your specific roles, and answer any last-minute questions.

What if I need to cancel my volunteer commitment?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel your volunteer commitment, please notify our Volunteer Coordinator, Becca, as soon as possible by emailing becca@downlineministries.com. This allows us to make necessary adjustments to our schedule.

What are the general volunteer roles available?

We have a variety of volunteer roles to fit different interests and abilities, including assisting with registration and check-in, helping attendees find their way around as wayfinders, setting up and tearing down event spaces, providing information at our help desk, photography, social media, videography, planning committee, spanish interpretation, and supporting speakers, etc.

Will I be able to hear the main talks?

Many of the volunteer teams will be able to hear many of the sessions. We cannot guarantee you will be able to hear all of the sessions, but we will try our best to let you sit in on one or two sessions at the minimum.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING:
